About the Initiative
Project Awaaz is a voluntary, non-profit educational movement launched by Author Astha Gill, a pioneer in educational training and student well-being. With nearly 25 years of experience in aviation training, human factors, and education reform, Astha Gill is also the founder of Astha Setu — ventures known for innovative and compassionate teaching models.
This initiative is dedicated to the emotional mentoring of students and implementing Student-Teacher Meets (STMs) across schools to build trust, connection, and belonging in classrooms.
Project Awaaz functions as a social-impact initiative under Astha Setu.
It is a voluntary, non-remunerated engagement intended for those who genuinely wish to bring positive change into the lives of students and create more emotionally responsive schooling systems.
Certificates and Volunteer Recognition Policy

All certificates will be issued exclusively by Ms. Astha Gill under the Astha Setu social initiative - Project awaaz

Certificates will be given only to volunteers who actively participate, show consistent availability, and contribute meaningfully to the tasks assigned.

Recognition will be offered diligently and fairly, based on quality and sincerity of involvement.
This is not just a certificate-driven or reward-based project. Many volunteers will join solely for the cause — and their spirit is the backbone of Project Awaaz.
Formalities & Volunteer Agreement
Joining Project Awaaz requires:
